Good communication is one of the simplest ways to mitigate this stress. I communicate and educate them on the process so they know what to expect. I regularly provide updates and discuss their concerns. In addition, I provide multiple ways to get in-touch with me when a need arises. Likewise, clients need to honestly communicate their needs and concerns to me.
My role is to understand the needs of my clients and provide options to help them reach their goals. I connect my clients to the right people within real estate so that my clients have access to a variety of field experts at their disposal. Sometimes, this path leads to the conclusion that it is not the right time to make a move. This is the difference between a salesman versus a real estate solutions provider. I focus on finding a solution, not making a sale.
My goal is to explore every option that is available until I find the best solution. I look for the best opportunities and am not afraid to do the "pick and shovel" work that most other agents shy away from. I will not leave any stone un-turned. Likewise, I expect my clients to be fully engaged in the process. It is a recipe for failure if I care more about the goal than the client.

In real estate, understanding the residential purchase agreement and properly crafting offers can literally save thousands of dollars. Agents who do not understand the contract or do a poor job of managing deliverables can cost their clients thousands. My team and I proactively manage the entire process working closely with escrow, title, lenders, and the other agents to protect the interest of those I represent.

For nearly fifteen years, I have been involved in real estate investment and property management. I have served in various executive positions with home owner associations protecting assets, enhancing property values, and developing long-term financial plans that restored the economic health of those communities.
Prior to joining First Team, I worked in both accounting and operations for some of the leading companies in their industry. The most recent was in management at Toyota's industrial equipment corporate offices. My team provided accounting services, leasing programs, and customer relationship management for key national accounts such as ExxonMobil, Fed Ex Freight, The Home Depot, and John Deere (just to name a few).
